Why do we have Life Builders?
Everything we do at Doxa comes out of our mission statement: To Glorify God through the fulfillment of the great commission. Life Builders are the way we dive deeper with discipleship. These are 4-6 week topical classes that cover a wide variety of important and practical issues that you are facing in your everyday life.
Why should I be apart of a Life Builder?
We all need to grow, and there are a lot of topics that require more nuance and time that just isn't available on Sunday morning. This is another arm of our teaching ministry which will equip you for the work of the ministry.
What do our Life Builders look like?
Many of these classes meet on Sunday nights, though they aren't exclusive to Sunday night. Some are more practical and hands on, others feel more like a lecture.
How is this different from Sunday School or a Bible Study?
It's very similar actually, some Bible studies are under the umbrella of our Life Builders.
What does the calendar commitment look like?
Sign up for as many of these that fit within your calendar. They usually very in length from 4-6 weeks. Starting at 6:00pm
What about kids?
Most of these don't have childcare, though some of them do. Others are designed specifically for parents to take with their elementary aged kids.
How long is a Life Builder class?
We value your time and schedule so our Life Builders will start promptly and go from one to one and a half hours.
